Getting Involved

Picture
Getting involved allows your interest in learning about how YOU can positively impact the well being of older adults to be met in several ways.

1. Your membership to COHA helps to support the delivery of educational materials for professional and non-professional use, development of models of care, collaboration with dental professionals across the country. Your $25 dollars helps to support all of this. You can join under our Membership button.

2. COHA highly encourages anyone interested to join in our quarterly meetings showcasing speakers across the country sharing news and concerns for the oral health and the elderly population. Click on the Meeting Schedule button for information on the next meeting and how to participate.

3. Getting involved could mean donating your time and volunteering with our current model of care - Dental Days. Hygienists provide prophylactic care for adults with special needs with Dr. Elisa Ghezzi providing screenings and referrals. This successful model continues to work due to the tremendous value hygienist practitioners place on giving back to those who find access to care difficult.
